The GFSA Board of Directors continues 2008 with a focus on ensuring that the society is undertaking activities and providing services that our members want. As we enter late summer, goldfish breeders in the northern hemisphere are taking a hard look at their 2008 spawning results. The culls are long gone, but most have more fish than they would care to go into the winter and 2009 with. While these best-of-spawn fish are never cheap, this is the time to look for opportunities to get fish from breeders that they would keep, if they just had the space. Organizations like the GFSA can help you find these breeders and look for stock to start your own program.
