We are a small group of goldfish hobbyists in the greater Washington DC area (DC, Virginia, and Maryland) who have been meeting since late 1996 for the purposes of fellowship and information exchange. Our goals are to become better goldfish keepers and to have fun doing it.

PAGE originally tried to organize monthly activities during the warmer months, ranging from barbecues to pond tours. This has proven too ambitious over time ... now we just keep in touch and do an occasional outing or get-together. We are not officially affiliated with any other organizations, but are happy to shamelessly attach ourselves to their activities.

Sadly, PAGE as a club on its own never took off. If you are interested in goldfish and are in the greater Washington DC area, a few of us have joined the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society (PVAS) and show up at their activities, including their monthly meetings. The PVAS is creating a "Goldfish Study Group" under its auspices; this will use the organizational structure of the PVAS, while still doing the activities PAGE was created for.

For information on the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society, visit http://www.pvas.com.

We are also members of the Goldfish Society of America. For information about the Goldfish Society of America, visit http://www.goldfishsociety.org.
